Hi Dr Buckles,
It's great to talk to a fellow medical professional.
I only found your podcast a couple of weeks ago so ashamed to say only just listed to this episode. Thought Scroobius might be interested to know that his recurring dream was one that I used to have with my sleep paralysis when I was younger and is quite a common phenomenon- Wikipedia knows all about it:
Love the podcast, especially the bonus bits at the end and the swearing.
I LOVE this podcast, keeps me thoroughly entertained when I should be working; clever and witty with excellent guests! Have already recommended to the masses. (By which I mean a few people on facebook) Also I very much enjoy the jingles.
So good to have you back! You're like an old, daft friend who I haven't seen in ages that I really hope hasn't changed too much or gotten boring. You haven't!
It always amazes me, if I may be so bold to observe, that you always talk quite self-deprecatingly. You are evidently kind, witty and always humorous and generous with your time, with a fantastic and loyal fanbase, yet you seem to lack confidence from time to time. As I'm sure lots of others are saying, you're great. I'm happy to give you an ego boost (because you deserve that lovely warm feeling), and keep at it! Don't compare yourself to Maron too much, do your thing and do it well, but most of all, just keep doing it. It's the best.
Another great cast Dr Buckles, I am inspired to listen to Joe Brody but can't find him (her?), can you spell his name out please. Keep up the great work and ignore the fools who think it could be better
A note about Comments
Hello Podcats and Blog friends,
I wanted to let you know that comments have been disabled on the blog and the app for the time being. This is not because of anyone posting anything abusive or anything like that, but just because I seldom get round to moderating the stuff that comes in as promptly as I should, and rather than irritate people who don’t understand why their comment hasn’t been posted, I think it’s easier if I just switch them off. Sorry about that, but time is scarce and I’m disappointed to discover I can’t do everything! And if you’re one of the people who submitted a comment and it hasn’t been posted - sincere apologies.
