Hey Adam, I've only just seen that this podcast has landed and I'm very excited let me tell you! I can't wait to listen. "My wife" and I have just returned from a marvellous production of Austentacious, and I kind of wanted to send you a picure of the silly novel names we thought of, but of course I'm not of the twiterati so I can't really do that. Anyway, I think the two I like the most right now were "Unrequited ambivalence" and "Bonnets and Balls"! With lots of thanks for your being and outputs as always, Gareth.
Hi Adam, so glad to have a new episode to enjoy. I love them so very much! And David Sedaris was fantastic.
I just wanted to make a little podcast suggestion you might be interested in. The musician Fyfe Dangerfield has started releasing his new music in podcast form and I'm really enjoying it lots - it feels like something you'd like very much. Peculiar little 15 minute chunks with echoes of Blue Jam. They're on www.channelsmaychange.com - they seem to be sneaking out very quietly.
Also.. another tiny suggestion.. I think we're reaching the point where you need to record a little "this episode contains scatological content" jingle to plop in during the intro as required! x
Hi! Sorry for the length of this email.
Backstory :My husband and I took the year of work to travel to all 50 states while living in a customized van. We do at least one act of service or volunteering in each state. We are in state #40.
We started listening to your podcast in the spring and you have been with us on our journey until we ran out of episodes. I actually have dance moves to your jingles (which are limited because I'm sitting on the passenger side of my best friend's ride). I am writing all this just to say how ridiculously excited I am to see that you are back. I was in a library at the time and almost had to leave due to not quiet enough squeals of joy.
Thank you for your podcast, your jingles, talking for Rosie and the wise old tree, and for allowing us to listen to an entire ramble chat without you breaking into a commercial. I find that so admirable.
Cheers, Dr. Buckles! We're off to listen.
A note about Comments
Hello Podcats and Blog friends,
I wanted to let you know that comments have been disabled on the blog and the app for the time being. This is not because of anyone posting anything abusive or anything like that, but just because I seldom get round to moderating the stuff that comes in as promptly as I should, and rather than irritate people who don’t understand why their comment hasn’t been posted, I think it’s easier if I just switch them off. Sorry about that, but time is scarce and I’m disappointed to discover I can’t do everything! And if you’re one of the people who submitted a comment and it hasn’t been posted - sincere apologies.
