Adam welcomes back his friend, British actor, comedian and writer Tash Demetriou to the podcast and tries out some ill advised ‘bants’ in the course of talking about her part in ’Stath Lets Flats’ with her brother Jamie, painful break ups, becoming an angry ‘womon’, appearing in the TV version of Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clements’ vampire mockumentary ’What We Do In The Shadows’

Absolutely loved this one, Tash is fabulous I love her and will be seeking out What we do in the shadows when it comes out. I thought slime was the stuff my daughter makes but didn't realise it had a pervy dimension, mind you what doesn't! Thanks for all the fun
Tash Demetriou's comments about the size and description of men's genitalia were offensive, not because I am a prude but because if a male made these types of remarks about women, iIt would be completely unacceptable. Just because we women have endured these types of demeaning comments in the past does not make it acceptable now for us to make them against men. This is lazy, and hypocritical.
Saying 'twenty- something' didn't work for the first 9 years of the century.
e.g. The year 2006 would have been 'twenty-six' which sounded more like 26 than 2006. Some people said 'twenty-oh-six' but they also sounded a bit silly. From 2010 onwards it worked fine to say the two pairs of numbers : 'twenty-ten' can only be 2010. (or it could be a 4 year old trying to say thirty).
So don't be too hard on yourself. You're only 8 years behind everyone else, not 18 years.
Thanks for the podcasts. lovely.
A note about Comments
Hello Podcats and Blog friends,
I wanted to let you know that comments have been disabled on the blog and the app for the time being. This is not because of anyone posting anything abusive or anything like that, but just because I seldom get round to moderating the stuff that comes in as promptly as I should, and rather than irritate people who don’t understand why their comment hasn’t been posted, I think it’s easier if I just switch them off. Sorry about that, but time is scarce and I’m disappointed to discover I can’t do everything! And if you’re one of the people who submitted a comment and it hasn’t been posted - sincere apologies.
